The OPA was founded in 1977 and it's aim is to better the school for future generations of students and to improve the school name.

Objectives
To promote closer relationship between the school and the ex-pupils.
To afford to its members means of social intercourse, mutual helpfulness and assistance, moral improvement and rational recreation.
Generally, the furtherance of the interests and prosperity of the scahool and its past and present students.
